1964 – 2018
Ann Marie (Harrison) Richotte, age 53, of Park Rapids Minnesota passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at CHI St. Joseph’s hospital after a long and courageous battle with neuroendocrine cancer.
Ann was welcomed into this world on October 24, 1964 at Wesley hospital in Wadena to Barbara Kinnunen Matson and John Harrison. Ann graduated from Menahga High School in 1982 and later enrolled in classes at Fergus Falls Community College, where she earned her Associates of Arts degree. It was there that she met the love of her life, Keith Richotte Sr. United in marriage they were blessed with three children: John Paul, Thomas and Michelle. For a number of years Ann and Keith made Washington state their home before moving back to Minnesota. In Menahga, Ann worked at Green Pine Acres nursing home before taking over ownership of the Sub Stop restaurant. In 2005, Ann and Keith relocated to Park Rapids where she worked at Walmart for several years. Then later at CHI St. Joseph’s Hospital until her passing.
Ann lived her life for her family, always putting her husband and children first. She truly enjoyed working at the hospital where her contagious smile was enjoyed by all of her friends and co-workers.
