Dale Miller

1928-2018

Dale E. Miller was born in Bassett, Iowa on December 9, 1928. He passed away on January 20, 2018 in Park Rapids, Minnesota.

He moved with his family to a farm north of Nevis in September of 1940. He graduated from Nevis High School in 1945.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War.

Dale worked for Reserve Mining and lived in Babbit for many years. He returned to Nevis in 1991 and lived on Spider Lake before moving into Nevis.

He was a faithful member of Bethany Lutheran Church and enjoyed many good times at the Nevis Senior Center.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Dewey and Esther Miller, his brothers Leland and Lloyd, his loving wives Inger Greer Miller and Beatrice Mikkelsen Miller.

He is survived by his brother Everett, sister Evelyn, and sister-in-law Helen Miller; ten nieces and nephews and step-children.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 3 at 12 noon at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Nevis. Visitation will be held starting at 11 a.m. for one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Interment will be held in the spring of 2018 at the Lakeview Cemetery in Park Rapids.
