Bonnie Huesman

Bonnie Marie Huesman, 75, of Nevis, Minnesota died on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Heritage Living Center in Park Rapids.

Bonnie Johnson was born on February 22, 1943 in Hubbard County near Park Rapids, the daughter of Harley W. and Marcelle D. (Meyer) Johnson. Bonnie grew up in Nevis where she attended school and graduated from high school in 1961. She was united in marriage to Albert “Al” John Huesman on May 30, 1965 at White Oak. She and Al resided in Nevis the majority of their lives. She was a self-employed daycare provider in the Nevis area for many years. She was a longtime active member of the Bethany Lutheran Church of Nevis. She enjoyed helping people, she was always thoughtful of others and she enjoyed sewing and knitting.

She is survived by her three siblings: Virgil (Teresa) Johnson of Great Falls, Montana, Wayne (Joanne) Johnson of San Clemente, California, and Delores (Jim) Hanson of Wahpeton, North Dakota, several nieces and nephews, and many close personal friends from the area. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert in 2014.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, May 5 at 11 a.m. at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Nevis. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.
