Marlin Warmbold
1956-2008
It is with great sadness that the family of Marlin Ross Warmbold announces his passing after a brief battle with cancer on June 20, 2018 at the age of 61.
Born in Park Rapids, Minnesota on October 23, 1956 to Harold and Valdean Warmbold, he lived most of his life in Menahga, Minnesota before moving to Conway, Arkansas thirteen years ago.
Marlin was an amazing man who served God first and foremost. He worked as a custom cabinet maker at his business “Ridgeview Custom Cabinetry.” In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, play cards, attending church life groups and spending time with family and friends. In his earlier years, he loved wrestling and later went on to coach the sport. Marlin took up oil painting a few years ago and artist Bob Ross was his inspiration. He also enjoyed traveling to Minnesota a few times each year to visit relatives.
Marlin was a devoted husband to his wife Dawn. They were high school sweethearts that celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary this past September. He was extremely loving and proud of his three children: son Justin Warmbold and his wife Jodie, daughter Joni Clark and her husband David, and daughter Jackie Hall and her husband Matt. Marlin adored his seven grandchildren: Svetlana Hall, Constantine Hall, Daniel Hall, Kiara Danielson, Jayda Danielson, Faith Warmbold and Aaron Warmbold. He is also survived by his father, Harold Warmbold, his three brothers: Jimmy, Marvin, and Daniel Warmbold; and his three sisters: Gayle Ollila, Roxanne Vry, and Christine May; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Valdean.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday June 28, 2018 at 10 a.m. at New Life Church in Conway, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been set up at P.O. Box 10278 Conway, Arkansas 72034.
So sorry for your loss, Marlin will be greatly missed.
