Kenneth Torma
1960-2018
Kenneth William Torma (Fudd) passed away, unexpectedly, at his home, on October 23, 2018 at the age of 58. Ken was born March 24, 1960 at Park Rapids hospital. As a young boy, he lived in numerous cities and finally moving in with his grandmother, Elma Torma, as a teenager, finishing out his high school career, graduating with the class of 1978 at Menahga High School. Ken spent his entire life in the Menahga area and had many lifelong friends. He worked construction and enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. Even though he never found the love of his life, he did have a daughter who he could only love from afar.
Ken liked to do his own thing and pave his own path in this world. He had a quirky smile and would always lend a helping hand, when asked. He never asked anything of anyone and liked to be the most independent person he possibly could. Ken loved his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends with his whole heart. He had a special place in his heart for his Aunt Joyce Ollila, whom he grew up with. Ken never did anyone any harm unless they came to him first.
Ken will be missed by many. He is survived by his daughter, Samantha Dhom (Jordan) of Illinois; five grandchildren: Ava, Draven, Gavin, Inari and Zephyr; his brother, Steven Torma of Park Rapids; his sisters: Brenda Simi (Aaron) of Menahga, and Kayleen Schmitz of Wadena; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his dad: Kenneth U. Torma; his mom, Muriel A. Niskanen; one grandson Phoenix Alexander; and his grandparents: Uno and Elma Torma (whom he loved with his whole heart).
A Celebration of Life/Memorial Service will be announced shortly with a private interment to be held at a later date.
