Elaine Marie Carlson of Sebeka, Minnesota, lost her battle with Alzheimer’s Disease on May 24, 2020, at the age of 71. She was born to the late Harvey and Eleanor Johnson on June 30,1948, in Duluth. She married Dennis Carlson in 1967 and they spent most of their years together near Sebeka.
Elaine is preceded in death by her parents; her nephew, Christopher Oja, and her nephew, Timothy Lehse. She is survived by her husband and her three children: Jennifer (Steve) Roman, Leah (Brad) Carlson, and Rustin (Rachel) Carlson Flores. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Kyle Roman, Josephine Meyer, Arlo Meyer, Cedar Flores, and Nova Flores, and by her siblings: Ron (Leona) Johnson, Tom (Michelle) Johnson, Debra (Dave) Brinkman and Cindy (Mike) Oja. Elaine spent several years working in the Sebeka school system as an office assistant and as a paraprofessional. She will be remembered for her musical gifts, her wonderful cooking, her many artistic and creative endeavors and her deep love of family. Elaine and Dennis spent many joyful years together as snowbirds traveling in their RV to warmer weather and making music with their friends. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
I will always remember the beautiful music Elaine & Dennis sang. You could see the love in their eyes, they had for each other.
I have many fond memories of playing with & listening to their music.
Elaine was one of nicest friend I have ever had. She will be missed by all, who’s life she touched. 🌹❤️🙏🏻
