Cassandra Berg
1982-2021
Cassandra Hope (Ehrmantraut) Berg was born September 1, 1982. Cassandra was raised in Sebeka, Minnesota. She was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in New York Mills, Minnesota. She graduated from Sebeka High School. Cassandra married in 2011 and was blessed with three children: son, Bryson (14), daughter, Brooklyn (10), and son, Braxton (8). She resided in Crosslake, Minnesota with her three children. Most recently, Cassandra worked at Pequot Lakes School for the past eight years until laid off due to COVID.
Cassandra loved collecting antiques, camping and gardening. However, her greatest joy in life was spending time with her precious children. Together they enjoyed bonfires, making s’mores, cooking, baking, movie nights, and riding four wheelers. She and her children shared many special memories watching sunrises and sunsets together. It was during these special times that she would share her deep faith and love of God with her children.
Cassandra looked forward to coming home to her parent’s farm on the weekends with her children. She enjoyed spending time and exploring the family farm and showing her children the many memories of her childhood.
Cassandra also worked with her mother, Cindy, doing daycare. Her love and compassion for children was one of her greatest gifts. She has touched so many lives with her big heart and sweet smile. Cassandra and Cindy became best friends during her adult years doing many things together, seeing each other often, and talking on the phone daily. Sadly, our sweet Cassandra left her family to join her Heavenly Father on April 10, 2021. She was proceeded in death by her grandfathers, Gerald Berg and Willie Ehrmantraut and great-grandparents, Verle and Harry Berg.
Cassandra is survived by her children: Bryson, Brooklyn, and Braxton; parents: Cindy and JB Ehrmantraut; brother, Chris, and sister, Jenny; nephews: Amarii and Kyler; grandmother, Corinne Berg; aunts and uncles, Larry (Carmen) Berg, Todd (Sue) Berg, and Lora (Dave) Rogers; special friends and neighbors, Dawn and Dean; and a host of cousins and many, many friends.
Cassandra will be forever loved and enormously missed by all of her family and friends, until we meet again.
Services will be 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
