Richard Zoll

1928 – 2021

Richard John Zoll, 93, of Cottage Grove, loved hunting and fishing with his wife LaDonna. Their favorite fishing spot was Odell Lake. They married April 10, 1954 and shared 61 years together until LaDonna passed away in 2015. Richard worked for Weyerhaeuser as a mill wright until age 63 and then he went to work for Grable Gear until he was 84 years old. When he was not working, he was tending his garden. He was a member of the Elks Club in Cottage Grove. He passed away August 17, 2021.

Survivors include his son Bruce Zoll of Cottage Grove, daughter Gynger Hoover of Cottage Grove, brother Forest Zoll of Minneapolis, Minnesota, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by wife LaDonna and their son Mark.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
