Jack Dailey

1966 – 2022

Jack Dailey, age 55, passed away on February 20, 2022. Funeral services were on Saturday February 26 at Motley Free Church in Motley.

Jack Kevin Dailey was born on July 5, 1966, to Laurence and Josephine (Siss) Dailey. He was the youngest of 13 children. Jack graduated from Staples High School in 1984 and finished his two year machinist degree at Staples Technical College. He was employed as a machinist first with Tol-O-Matic in Minneapolis and later with Mate Precision Tooling in Anoka until his death. Jack lived in Anoka, Elk River, Big Lake and most recently Becker. Jack also owned a cabin just steps away from his childhood home near Leader and spent many weekends there.

Jack married Kim Walz on September 20, 1997. They had two boys together – Vincent Earl Dailey was born on 10/12/02 and Kevin Laurence Dailey was born on 11/8/06. Jack and Kim divorced on 10/15/20.

Jack enjoyed being outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing. He was a hard worker and enjoyed a good beer. Above all else he loved his family, watching his boys wrestle, and especially enjoyed time with his granddaughter “Punky”.

Jack is survived by his sons: Vince and Kevin Dailey; granddaughter; Heather Rose Dailey; brothers: Robert (Joyce) Dailey, Raymond (Joan) Dailey, Richard (Rosemary) Dailey, Thomas (Debbie) Dailey, Laurence Jr. (Dawn) Dailey; sisters: Carol Dailey, Sandy (Robert) Knoll, Marsha (Mike) Horan, many nieces and nephews, and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Jerry Dailey; sisters Linda Swanson, Mary Dailey, and Patricia Wickham.
