Robert Randall

1945-2022

A Celebration of Life will be held for Robert “Bob” Randall on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 1 p.m. at the Karvonen Funeral Home in Wadena, Minnesota with Pastor Dave Seaton officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Elmer Goche Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3922 of Wadena, Minnesota. Bob will be laid to rest in the Wadena City Cemetery, Wadena, Minnesota.

Robert “Bob” Lee Randall was born on December 22, 1945 in Rawlings, Wyoming. His parents were the late Burnell and Helen (Lamoine) Randall. Bob graduated from Verndale High School with the class of 1964. Bob served in the United States Navy from June 5, 1964 to November 27, 1965.

On September 24, 1966 Bob was united in marriage with Pamella “Jo” Suzette Gruchow at Zion Lutheran Church in North Germany Township near Blue Grass, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with 4 children: Teri, Bob, Joseph and Jeffrey. Bob and Pam made their home in Wadena, Minnesota. For 44 years Bob was employed in sales and deliver for Bunny Bread, Masterbread and Metz Baking Company.

Bob was a member the Elks Lodge in Wadena and the steel workers union. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, the outdoors and gardening. He loved spending time with his family and also painting and wood carving. Pamela “Jo” passed away on April 27, 2004.

On May 10, 2022 Bob passed away peacefully at Tri-County Hospital in Wadena, Minnesota at 76 years of age. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Preceding Bob in death were his parents, Burnell and Helen Randall; wife, Pamela “Jo” Randall; son, Jeffrey Randall; sisters: Debbi and Pat; brothers: Louis and Ray and great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn.

Bob is survived by his children: Teri Randall of Hewitt; Bob (Lori) Randall of Bremington, Washington and Joseph Randall of Wadena; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; siblings: Dixie (Scott) Parkarinen of Brainerd; Linda (Lee) Tarrel of Wadena; Kathy (Cedric) Haugen of Green Bay, Wisconsin and Kay Randall of Moorhead; many other relatives and a host of friends.
