David Gordon
1944-2022
On May 15, 2022, David Leon Gordon passed away peacefully at his home in Wadena, MN. at 78 years of age.
Leon was born April 5, 1944, to Leon and Muriel Gordon. His family lived at Inkster, North Dakota.
While Leon was in 1st grade, he and his two siblings, Dennis and Frances, went to live with their Uncle Oscar and Aunt Vida Sorum on a farm in the Sebeka, MN. area. There they attended District 49 Country School and Sebeka High School. Leon served three years in the United States Army.
In his earlier years, he lived in many places. Some of his more pleasurable years were spent in Snowflake, AZ. on his “Gypsy Cowboy Ranch”.
Since 2022, he made his home in Wadena, MN. Leon was known at the Nursing homes and Hospitals for entertaining the residents with lively music and engaging conversations. He knew many of them by name.
Preceding Leon in death were his parents Leon and Muriel Gordon; son: David Leon Gordon Jr.; brothers: Richard and Don Luuski; sister: RoyAnn Castonguay; Uncle Oscar and Aunt Vida Sorum.
Leon is survived by siblings: Dennis Gordon of Staples, and Frances (Dean) Estabrooks of rural Nimrod; many other relatives and a host of friends.

Interment will be at Inkster N.D. Cemetery.
