He was born on July 2, 1958, in Crookston, MN, the son of Emery and Millicent (Peck) Gendron. He was raised and educated in Laporte. After finishing High School he received his CNA certification. He worked at Woodrest Nursing Home, and Ah Gwah Ching in Walker, and at Pine Manor in Nevis. He went on to work at the Cass Lake Lumber Yard, until an injury put him on early retirement.
He enjoyed being outside, mowing the lawn, maintaining the yard, stargazing, watching satellites, watching sunsets, gardening, and hanging out with his dogs. He enjoyed watching Twin’s games with his son Drew, and Viking’s games with his daughter Danielle. He enjoyed talking about cars, kept his car in pristine condition, and liked to detail cars for others. He was always tinkering with something.
For treats he loved Mountain Dew and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He loved having pizza with his brother and best friend Larry every Tuesday night; they called it “Taco Tuesday,” and watched Gunsmoke together.
