Theresa Wells 1961 – 2023

Theresa Nell Wells, 61, Akeley, MN passed away Monday, October 9, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.
Theresa “TC” was born November 1, 1961 in Park Rapids, MN to James and Deloris (Semmler) Hayes. She grew up in Akeley and worked for Ah-Gwah-Ching during high school. She graduated from Akeley High School in 1979 and in 1980 joined the US Air Force where she served for 20 years.
In October 2008 TC was united in marriage to Ron Wells in Akeley. She worked for Next Innovations in Walker, MN. She enjoyed baking, quilting, gardening, canning, and was a lifetime member of Akeley VFW Post #8508 and an active member at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Akeley. TC enjoyed spending time with family and will be deeply missed.
TC is survived by her husband, Ron; children: Richard Cutter, John (Jessica) Cutter, Melissa Mae Wells (Mike Williams); grandchildren: Nevaeh, Gavin, and Vincent Cutter; siblings: Joan Houchin, James (Patricia) Hayes, Lawrence (DeeAnn) Hayes, Kathy (Raymond) Sauer; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Deloris Hayes.
Memorial Services were held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Akeley, MN. Visitation was held for one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Red River Hospice.
