Kenneth E. Puttonen, age 84 of Sebeka, Minnesota passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Lakewood Care Center in Staples, Minnesota.
Kenneth Elmer Puttonen was born to Elmer and Irene Puttonen on July 6, 1939, at home on a farm in Wolf Lake, Minnesota. Kenneth was baptized and confirmed at the Paddock Bethany Lutheran Church In rural Sebeka.
Kenneth attended Grade School at the Greenway District #171 Country School from 1945 to 1954 and then attended Sebeka High School.
Kenneth served in the United States Air Force from l957 to 1961 and then was a Sailor for the US Merchant Marine from 1963 to 1996. He worked on the Ore Boats for Inter-Lake Steamship Association on the Great Lakes.
His interests and hobbies were hunting and fishing.
Preceding Kenneth in dearth are his parents Elmer and Irene Puttonen, sisters Lavern A Ohlgren, Donna Sarbaum; brother Dean Puttonen, brother-in-law Willy Kuha, and nephew Ross Kuha.
Surviving Kenneth is his son Clifford Puttonen, sister Ella Kuha, brothers: Donald (Bonnie) Puttonen, Eugene (Vickie) Puttonen, and David (Rhonda) Puttonen and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
