Annette Piri 1966 – 2023

Annette Piri was born January 27, 1966 in Moose Lake, Minnesota. She passed away on December 21, 2023 at Essentia Health-Virginia. Annette was only 57 years old.
Annette is survived by her loving husband, Curt Piri; brother, Craig (Lisa) Hultgren; three sons: Zach (Cathy) Rowe, Josh (Gina) Rowe, Deven (Kaylee) Rowe, and step-son Lukas (Brianna) Piri; nephews: Casey (Sheriah) Hultgren, Logan Hultgren and great-nephew Jace. Annette also leaves behind her mother-in-law, Ellen Poderzay, and her seven grandchildren Caleb, Mason, Avery, Lyla, Ada Jo, Waylon and Brayden.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Laurel Hultgren, and her step-son Kyle Piri.
Annette’s sons were her world, always showing up for them and always cheering them on at all sporting events. Raising her three sons and two step-sons was one of her greatest accomplishments, which then led into her always showing up for her grandchildren and lending a hand when able.
Annette worked at Super-One Foods for 21 years where she ended up retiring in 2006. Annette loved crafting, scrapbooking and making sure her family had memories to keep and cherish forever. She enjoyed being at the family farm in Menahga with Curt, where they spent most of their time in the summer, where she got to enjoy being out in the sun and gardening. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church where her friends became family.
Curt and Annette were married on April 6, 2002. Their vows are a testament to everyone to live by as they really showed the meaning of, for better or worse, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part.
Even through it all she found a way to smile and laugh and be there for her family. Annette will be remembered for being an amazing mother, wife, grandma and friend. She will be so missed, we love you.
